I would have to track the 300SL, if only because it was unusable on the road. You see, Mercedes just slapped number plates on the race cars and sold them without actually modifying them for road usage. As a result, the race engineered dry sump cooling system did its job too well and the engine could never reach its optimum operating temp under normal driving conditions.
